Stieff Sterling Pistol Knife Williamsburg Queen Anne Weighs 2.450 ozt Made of Sterling Silver Length: 9 ¼ inches Old French Pistol Grip Handle Stainless Steel Blade Pattern: Williamsburg Queen Anne Circa: 1940-2006 This lovely sterling silver old French pistol knife was made by the Kirk Stieff Company. The pattern is Williamsburg Queen Anne and it was issued from 1940-2006. This piece is in excellent condition with some polish marks, which is common with estate silver. The Stieff Company was founded in 1892 in Baltimore, Maryland by Charles Stieff. According to a 1937 Stieff catalogue, they were "Makers of sterling silver and 14-K gold." The Schofield Co. was later purchased in 1967 and in 1979 The Stieff Company purchased Samuel Kirk & Son, Inc. and changed the firm's name to The Kirk Stieff Company.
